Normalize runs each non-operator expression segment through the same normalization pipeline used to prepare index entries.

Segment expands each non-operator expression segment into an OR query over the full normalized expression and its structural sub-expressions. It always uses normalization internally. Min. tokens filters out resulting sub-expressions whose token length falls below the threshold. Segm. Coverage can require that a minimum percentage of resulting segments be matched within the same indexed expression instance. A value of 0% keeps the regular OR behavior.
